Rancho Feliz Open House
Service Volunteering – Share the Experience
Friday–Sunday, November 5th–7th
We invite you to join Rancho Feliz for an open house and to stay at La Hacienda Feliz, our brand-new dormitory.
Together, we will build barrio homes for local families and distribute over 500 food bags to the community.
Cost per person: $300
Weekend accommodations:
- Rancho Feliz transportation provided in Agua Prieta, Mexico (more details upon registration)
- Dormitory sheets, pillows and towels included
- Daily breakfast, lunch and dinner
Day 1 — Friday, November 5, 2021
- 3 p.m.: Volunteers arrive and settle in at La Hacienda Feliz Dormitory. Transportation will be provided by Rancho Feliz across the border or you can drive your own car.
- Tour of border wall, Migrant Center and Vecinos Neighborhood
- 6 p.m.: Happy hour, Mexican buffet dinner
Day 2 — Saturday, November 6, 2021
- Early-morning breakfast buffet
- Head to worksites and build barrio homes with families
- Lunch, followed by a special community piñata event with local kids
- Transportation back to La Hacienda Feliz for happy hour, mariachi music and an authentic catered dinner—a real Mexican fandango!
Day 3 — Sunday, November 7, 2021
- Early-morning breakfast buffet
- 500 food bag distribution in community
- Carne asada cookout lunch with volunteer team
- 1 p.m.: Transportation back to the border
